Project 52 - Week 1

1/80 sec at f/4.0 ISO 800 50mm

Welcome to week one of my Project 52.  This is my first picture for my photo a week project.  The subject for the month of January is Bokeh.  For those of you don't know, bokah refers to the way a camera lens renders out of focus areas of a picture.  In my picture above, I used a large aperture of f/4 to place the tree in the background out of focus and emphasize the bokeh caused by the lights.

  1. I love that smile! She's a cutey. You're going to be a busy Dad when she gets older. Very nice photo. It actually made me smile.

  2. Thank you. I have received quite a few compliments on this picture from family and others. She was in a real good mood and I had the camera handy.
